Because of the small screen and the scrolling on mobile devices, I have de-activated "Draggable map for touch devices" in the general settings page -> Map tab within the Directory settings. However, the street view maps continue to be draggable which makes it very difficult to navigate the page. I have only been able to test this on my iPhone 5.

You can see the issue here on a mobile device:

Same problem here.

Hi, the streetview has no option to make it draggable or not. So you can`t change it in admin and can`t change it in code.

So why does it have the toggle button to activate / deactivate the map? This makes it confusing to the user as well as very difficult to navigate the page... Is there a fix option?

Hi, do you deactivated the map on items page? Because I can`t see it. You can try to disable it with css.

I am currently only using the street view map on relevant item pages. In a rural community, the streetview / map view is not always the best representation of the item. Here is a page where you can see the street view live:

Hi, noramlly the streetview functionality is to look around on the street. In mobile if the option to disable it will be added then why is the streetview used for? Without draggable function the streetview is unusable. And this is not added by default in google api.

I simply don't want it to be draggable by default, because the user cannot scroll down the page to the content as they get stuck dragging on the streetview and cannot go farther. Have you tried scrolling down the page on an item view with streetview? It is a very poor user experience.

The streetview is very useful and offers a nice header display view on the desktop version with mouse dragging, but makes the items un-usable on a mobile device. That is why I want to disable it or hide it all together on a mobile device.

Hello, for now it is possible only to close street view with cross in upper right corner of header. Unfortunately as Zoli explained, this feature is missing directly in google api and it is not possible to disable it.
I can suggest our developers to look at it and consider different option but I can't ensure you it will be implemented because our team is currently working on new template and other features.
